Holy Days and Baby's Gestation period

This article is amazing! It is incredible to see how YHWH is a God of order, and He weaves His truths into everything in life! This site talks about how the appointed times of YHWH (feast days) parallel with a baby's gestation. Awesome!

The only correction I would make is that the writer calls these "Jewish Feast Days", and that is such a huge misunderstanding and false doctrine! They are feasts of YHWH that His people (anyone in Messiah) are told to keep throughout our generations!

How "Mainstream Christianity" is off the mark

How "Mainstream Christianity" is off the mark (click title to view original link)

Isaiah 29: 13 Then Adonai said: "Because these people approach me with empty words, and the honor they bestow on me is mere lip-service; while in fact they have distanced their hearts from me, and their 'fear of me' is just a mitzvah of human origin 14 therefore, I will have to keep shocking these people with astounding and amazing things, until the 'wisdom' of their 'wise ones' vanishes, and the 'discernment' of their 'discerning ones' is hidden away."

Mainstream Christianity insists "Jesus" preached the Gospel - the Good News about the Messiah's death, burial, and resurrection, which is all they tend to focus on. But the Scriptures, read in context, reveal He didNOT preach those things at all; rather, He preached the Kingdom of YHWH (Yahweh)!
Luke 4: 43 "But he (Yeshua/Jesus) said, "I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent."
Luke 8: 1. And it happened after these things that Y'shua was going around in the cities and in the villages and was preaching and declaring the Kingdom of Elohim.
Acts 28: 23 "From morning till evening the Apostle Paul explained and declared the Kingdom of God and tried to convince people about Yeshua from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets."
Acts 24: 14. But this indeed I (Paul) acknowledge, that in that same doctrine of which they speak, I do serve the Elohim of my fathers, believing all the things written in Torah and in the prophets.
So, while His death, burial, and resurrection are an important part of the Good News, it's not the whole story! God isn't just in the business of "saving" people; as Creator and law giver, He is in the business of teaching us how to be good subjects in His Kingdom to come! If "Jesus abolished Torah at the cross" then why was EVERY believer completely Torah observant for one hundred years after Yeshua's death, including the Apostle Paul who was "caught" being Torah observant 29 years after Yeshua's death (Acts 21:23-24)! Was Paul a hypocrite, saying one thing and doing another; or were his teachings, perhaps, misunderstood?

YHWH said HE would send a prophet who was to do everything He ordered him to do:
Deuteronomy 18: 15 "ADONAI will raise up for you a prophet like me from among yourselves, from your own kinsmen. You are to pay attention to him, 16 just as when you were assembled at Horev and requested ADONAI your God, 'Don't let me hear the voice of ADONAI my God any more, or let me see this great fire ever again; if I do, I will die!' 17 On that occasion ADONAI said to me, 'They are right in what they are saying. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their kinsmen. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I order him.
Yeshua Himself said He came to do HIS FATHER's will; not His own!
John 6: 35. Y'shua said to them, I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will not hunger. And whoever believes in me will not ever thirst. 36. But I have said to you that you have seen me, and you do not believe. 37. All who my Father has given to me will come, and whoever comes not to me I will cast outside! 38. For I came down from heaven,[1] not to do my will, but to do the will of Him who sent me.39. And this is His will, that of Him who sent me, that all that He has given to me I do not lose even one. 40. For this is the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in Him, will have life that is eternal. And I will raise him up on the last day. (Aramaic English New Testament)
[1] As in the context of Miltha (the Word) or the "Manifestation" or the "Will of" YHWH coming down from heaven to do the Will of YHWH upon earth; his Spirit is of YHWH but his nephesh (soul) and body are human and temporal. This shows that Yeshua was NOT in charge; HIS FATHER WAS!
Yeshua came to proclaim the Kingdom of YHWH and to do everything His Father commanded. He tore down the fences of man's legalism. Neither He nor His Apostles ever advocated against Torah!
John 12: 44. But Y'shua cried out and said, He who believes in me, it is not in me he does believe, but in Him who sent me. [1] 45. And he who sees me sees Him who sent me! 46. I have come as the light into this world that all who believe in me might not remain in the darkness! 47. And he who hears my words, yet does not keep them, I do not judge him, for I have not come to judge the world but to give life[2] to the world. 48. He who rejects me and does not receive my words, there is something that judges him. The word that I have spoken, it will judge him on the last day. 49. For I have not spoken from my soul, but the Father who sent me. He gave a Commandment to me what I should say and what I should speak. 50. And I know that His commands are eternal life. [3] Therefore, these things that I speak just as my Father told me, thus I speak.[4] (Aramaic English New Testament)
[1] Y'shua does not bring a new Faith, but reveals the original Faith of YHWH the Father.
[2] Y'shua proclaims that he came to give life, then he declares that His father's Commands are eternal life! The Father's "Commands" are instruction in righteousness; this is Torah which contains Commandments, Judgments, Testimony and Witness regarding the Kingdom of Elohim. Those who enter into Covenant with Mashiyach are entering into Covenant with his Father YHWH; therefore, it is evil - an outright lie - to teach that Torah is done away with and replaced by a new theology!
[3] The Commands of YHWH bring eternal life. YHWH's "Commands" refers to all of His Commandments; these are one and the same as every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of Elohim. These are not Commands only between Y'shua and His Father but they are universal for all souls who will enter into the Malchut Elohim.
[4] Y'shua speaks the Word of YHWH, not his own words; therefore, he conveys the revelation of YHWH according to the Ruach haKodesh without the baggage of man's religious tradition. Religion has a propensity to reinvent or interpret the Word of YHWH to make it "acceptable" to man's standards; whereas Mashiyach came not to please men, but to honor and bring Glory to his Father.

Yeshua was sent by the Father NOT to do His own will, but the Father's! So many seem to think He came to replace the Father and abolish Torah....Yet He came to restore man's relationship with YHWH and remind us to totally rely on YHWH for everything.

Many (if not most) Christians keep insisting "God is love" and that's all we need to know. So here's a hypothetical question: A father teaches his child not to cross the road unless he has looked both ways; he did that because he LOVES the child. The child, believing that the father's love is all encompassing, doesn't bother to continue to obey what the father SAID because, hey, "Dad is LOVE!"; he just goes ahead and crosses the road without looking - and consequently gets smashed by a semi-truck. So, how did the father's LOVE save that child? It didn't! There are commands the kid should have obeyedin order to please his father and continue living with and FOR the father. Loving God includes obeying His rules because they are our ONLY blueprint for moral, holy living!

We created this page mainly to counter the Christian claims that, in order to "be saved" one has to do nothing besides "believe in Jesus." While this is true to a certain extent because Yeshua was the Final SIN Sacrifice, there is more to "having a personal relationship with God" - a whole new world, as a matter of fact! Yeshua (YHWH-Come-in-the-Flesh) even said He did not come to replace His Father or to abolish His Father's Divine Instructions (Torah -without which mankind would have no blueprint for moral, holy living (1 John 3:4)!).
And think about this: If you abolish Torah, you have to abolish the Ten Commandments right along with it. You can't pick and choose what parts of Torah are still valid - especially since YHWH gave us several "forever" commands above and beyond "the Ten Commandments"! But yet, Christianity - borne out of Catholicism and NOT the original teachings of Messiah - insists that "Jesus came to do away with the law" and they've decided the "forever" commands don't pertain to them. Somehow, they cannot seem to understand that Yeshua came to proclaim the Kingdom of YHWH and then to martyr Himself so that we could have everlasting life with YHWH (see also John 17:1-3).

Hold on - we're not trying to be mean here; we're just trying to get your attention!

1 John 2:3-6: The way we can be sure we know Him is if we are obeying His commands. Anyone who says, "I know Him," but isn't obeying His commands is a liar - the truth is not in him. But if someone keeps doing what he says, then truly love for God has been brought to its goal in him. This is how we are sure that we are united with Him. A person who claims to be continuing in union with Him ought to conduct his life the way He did.

So, how did Yeshua conduct His life? By obeying and carrying out His Father's Divine Instructions/Commands! Are you beginning to see what we're getting at? Yeshua was completely Torah observant, as were all of His apostles and disciples throughout the entire First Century....so what makes Christians think THEY don't have to be? How did Yeshua's death on the stake negate His Father's Divine Instructions? How did YHWH's Divine Instructions get to be a "curse"? That doesn't even make sense!
That, in itself, reveals there must be more to God and the Bible than just "believing in Jesus" and it's way past time for mankind to realize this. We are in the end times as outlined in the Books of Daniel and Revelation, and it won't be much longer before Yeshua's return. Those who have chosen to ignore God's Torah are NOT worshiping the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and will be very surprised to discover they were "left behind" on that fateful day because they were guilty of being "lukewarm." Many of our Christian brethren have already realized this and opted to leave the "milk" of the church in order to pursue a true relationship with their Creator because they've finally understood that Yeshua said He did NOT come to abolish or negate His Father's Commands:
Matthew 5: 17 Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah - not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot (words/commands) and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P'rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Has everything happened that must happen? Have heaven and Earth passed away yet? Since when does the word "complete" (or "fulfill) mean "abolished"? Why would God abolish His own original divine teachings which He said were to last forever? Did Jesus come to make a liar out of YHWH, God the Father?

But Romans 10:4 tells us that Christ is the "end of the Law!"
No, it doesn't. That is just another gross mistranslation from the Greek! Please click the Torah scroll to discover why!

Here's the thing: The "Old Testament" is God's Word; The "New Testament" is about God's Word. One can be "saved" by believing in the Messiah (the "arm of YHWH"), but one cannot possibly understand God until one is firmly rooted in Torah.
Isaiah 53: 1 Who believes our report? To whom is the arm of ADONAI revealed?
Conveniently forgetting that "Jesus" was the SON, sent by God, Christianity has pushed our Creator whose Name is YHWH into the background and insisted that Jesus has somehow usurped all of God's power and "nailed to the cross" all of His original teachings/instructions. (1 Corinthians 11: 3. and the head of the Mashiyach is Elohim.) Not only that, but they changed the Messiah's name along with the dates of His birth, death and resurrection, and removed all traces of His Jewishness.
Please read the following very carefully: Yeshua (His given Hebrew Name which means, "Yahweh is Salvation" while "Jesus" means nothing in particular), was a Torah observant Jew who kept all the Biblical Feasts and the seventh day Sabbath. Contrary to popular belief, He was not born on December 25th; He was born on the first day of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) which always falls in the September/October time frame on our Gregorian calendars. His exact date of death according to the Bible was Nisan 14 - Passover - and He rose three days later on Saturday evening, not on a Sunday. God gave us seven Biblical Feasts which He said believers were to keep forever, and Yeshua has so far only fulfilled the first four....and yet Christians as a whole have chosen to ignore them and instead, celebrate their man-made "holy days" of Christmas and Easter - both of which are steeped in paganism (more on this in the articles on the Challenging Mainstream Christianity page)....
Despite all this, Christians (many of whom believe there's more than just one way to heaven thanks to the Oprahs and others in this world who bend in whatever direction the wind blows!) arrogantly believe THEY have the market cornered on Truth and put down the Jews - who OBEY God by keeping His Torah, His seventh day Sabbath and His Biblical Feasts - by making statements such as this one, found on a Christian website: Even with the presence of God in their lives, the ancient Hebrews of the Bible were still just as sinful as the Greeks. They turned their backs on God all through history. Even today, Israel as a nation, rejects Jesus Christ. They are a nation that does not know God.
Of course the Jews are just as sinful as everybody else! But to insinuate that "Jews don't know God" is an ignorant and untrue statement, because believing Jews OBEY Torah which reveals exactly who God is, how we are to worship Him, and how we are to treat each other according to HIS desires; whereas Christianity has borrowed the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and effectively twisted Him into someone unrecognizable by ignoring His "forever" commands and insisting His Laws were abolished by a Son (who was born and died....Can GOD be "born" and have a mother and "die"? Please think about that!) whose name, and dates of birth, death and resurrection were changed by the early "Church fathers" - never mind that each of these things are foreshadowed in the Biblical Feasts that God commanded us all to keep "forever"....

When God made His New Covenant with the Houses of Israel and Judah (Jeremiah 31:32), He never mentioned that it was to somehow abolish His Divine Instructions (Torah)...And, contrary to popular belief Yeshua, who was Himself Torah observant, never said He came to abolish the Torah; He came to abolish man-made doctrines, the rabbinical ideology which had distorted (and is still distorting) the Word of God!

When Yeshua returns, He will be teaching GOD'S WORD which was revealed through Torah (the first five Books which contain all the "thou shalt and shalt nots" and "thus saith the Lord" verses) and once again personally demonstrating how much off the mark man's opinions are - and thus He will be abolishing Christian traditions and the opinions and ideologies of your respective pastors who are just as off the mark as many of the rabbis of old who had added to and/or taken away from the Word and turned YHWH's commands into a burden....
Many protest that this was "just for the Jews," but we would ask you to please think about this: Where did God ever say He was going to treat His adopted children any different from His natural ones? Torah is our onlyblueprint for moral, holy and godly living! The ONLY thing Yeshua "nailed to the cross" was the requirement to kill an innocent animal to atone for our sins, and that in no way negates the need for Torah! God Himself said that anyonewho wants to follow the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is to be Torah observant:

Please think about this, too: Back when God created the world and made the seventh day holy (Genesis 2:2-3), He wasn't talking to the Jews because there were no Jews back then! Adam and Eve, to whom He gave His first rules weren't Jews, and neither were Cain and Abel who offered the first sin sacrifices. And Noah, who also was not a Jew, knew the difference between "clean and unclean" animals...(Genesis 4:3-5)

Numbers 15: 13 "'Everyone who is native-born must do these things in this way when he brings an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 14 For the generations to come, whenever an alien or anyone else living among you presents an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, he must do exactly as you do. 15The community is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinancefor the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the LORD: 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the alien living among you.'"
Please re-read the above in case you missed it: Any Torah-less non-Jew/Hebrew/Israelite who does not yet believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is an "alien"/foreigner. However, if they do wish to accept Him, then they are to do exactly as those who are already belong to Him!
"Living among" means not necessarily physically, but rather, it refers to all those who have accepted the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They MUST be Torah observant, just like the Houses of Israel and Judah were with whom God made His New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:32)!
Romans 10: 12. And in this, it discriminates neither Jews nor Gentiles. For there is one, Master YHWH, over them all, who is abundantly generous towards every one that calls on him. 13. For everyone that will call on the name of Master YHWH, will have life.

It is important to understand that YHWH did NOT make His New Covenant with the Gentiles; He made it with those who were obedient to His divine Instructions (Jeremiah 31:32)! Same God, same rules for both the "natural" and the grafted-in" children....

This does not mean that Torah observance will "save" you, because the ONLY thing that gets you into heaven is belief on the shed blood of Christ! But that in no way negates our need to obey God's rules. If you wish to have a REAL relationship with YHWH, then you MUST obey His "forever" commands, because they are our only blueprint to moral, holy living. But once you have the Holy Spirit, you will want to please God - and pleasing Him means obeying His Torah which will keep you from sinning! (Remember - sin is the transgression of the Law/Torah - 1 John 3:4)!) Doesn't that make more sense than making up your own rules about a Savior who never once heard the name of "Jesus" during His entire lifetime on Earth?
Jeremiah 31:32 tells us that Yahweh made His "new covenant" not with the Torah-less Gentiles, but with the House of Israel and with the House of Judah; He did, however, extend His grace and mercy to the Gentiles who, once they become believers in Yeshua, automatically become part of "Israel"! And God told Israel: "I give you good instruction: Do not forsake my Torah" (Proverbs 4:2). And Paul reiterated this when he said: Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law. (Romans 3:31) Paul also wrote in Acts 21 - a full 29 years after the death of Yeshua::

Acts 21: 25. As to those of the Gentiles who have believed, we have written, that they should keep themselves from (an idol’s) sacrifice, and from sexual sin, and from what is strangled, and from blood.” 26. Then Paul took those men, on the following day, and was purified with them; and he entered and went into the temple, explaining to them how to complete the days of the purification, up to the presentation of the offering by each of them.
This event clearly establishes Rav Shaul as a Torah observant Jew; however, most mainstream Christians twist Paul into being a man pleaser – as though his offering was solely to please Jews, as some sort of political posturing. There is no conflict between atonement made by Yeshua’s blood and the giving of offerings in the Temple. Paul walks in the footsteps of Y’shua, King David, and all the Yisrael of Elohim, when he declares "I rejoice in the Torah of Elohim, in the inner man." (Romans 7:22.) Each and every blood sacrifice and offering made in the Temple points to Mashiyach’s perfect blood. The Temple stood until 70 AD. The followers of Y’shua met daily in the Temple and gave offerings unto YHWH, but they also knew atonement was accomplished through the precious blood of Y’shua....
Paul wrote:
Romans 7: 7 Therefore, what are we to say? That the Torah is sinful? Heaven forbid! Rather, the function of the Torah was that without it, I would not have known what sin is. For example, I would not have become conscious of what greed is if the Torah had not said, "Thou shalt not covet."
Romans 7: 12 So the Torah is holy; that is, the commandment is holy, just and good.
Paul also said that YHWH’s law is spiritual (Romans 7:14) - and that which is spiritual is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4: 18 We concentrate not on what is seen but on what is not seen, since things seen are temporary, but things not seen are eternal.
So, the question once more is: Why would Yeshua’s death have abolished Torah? Those who teach contrary to the Torah, which both Yeshua and Paul upheld, are false preachers and prophets; nothing more, nothing less. Paul wrote:
2 Corinthians 11: 13 The fact is that such men are pseudo-emissaries: they tell lies about their work and masquerade as emissaries of the Messiah. 14 There is nothing surprising in that, for the Adversary himself masquerades as an angel of light; 15 so it’s no great thing if his workers masquerade as servants of righteousness. They will meet the end their deeds deserve.
If the above has peaked your curiosity, then we invite you to read the articles on the Challenging Mainstream Christianity page, and verifying in the Bible everything we've espouseddon't just take our word for it! If some of the articles come across as blunt or harsh, it's because many Christians have attacked this website - some have even sent death threats! - and so we are presenting God's Truth without bothering to mince words. You have the choice to take it or leave it. In the end, God Himself leaves it up to us as to whether or not we choose to obey Him, or his enemy....
Micah 6: 8 Human being, you have already been told what is good, what ADONAI demands of you - no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.
How do you walk in purity with God unless you are OBEYING Him?

The bottom line is: We are on the same side! So, let's work together, for God's sake!

What is a Schoolmaster?

What is A School Master?
By Maria Merola?

"The Torah is our school master to lead us to the true Messiah, but most of the Christian world has not even enrolled in kindergarten and the "Jesus" promulgated in the Western Gentile world is an amalgam of a celestial Santa Claus and a bleeding heart liberal who makes no demands and has no standards for behavior."--quote from Michael Rood

The Strong's Greek Concordance defines very well for us what the Apostle Sha'ul Paul was describing when he compared the Holy Law of YHWH (Torah) to a"schoolmaster."
Galatians 3:

24 Wherefore the Torah (written law ) was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Messiah, that we might be justified by faith.

25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (the written law).

This term in Greek means "a person assigned to take the children to school."

# 3807. paidagogos pahee-dag-o-gos' from 3816 and a reduplicated form of 71; a boy-leader, i.e. a servant whose office it was to take the children to school; (by implication, (figuratively) a tutor ("paedagogue"):-- instructor, schoolmaster.

But once the student gets to class, the "Teacher"  takes over from there. So what is the "schoolmaster"? It is the written law in it's corruptible form (in stone or in scrolls or in the"letter" ) so that we realize that we need to go to school and learn from the Holy Spirit. Now, once the written Law (the schoolmaster) shows us that we need the Holy Spirit, we are motivated to come to faith in Messiah because we can see our sinfulness and lawlessness.

And what is sin?

1st John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah (law): for sin is the transgression of the Torah (law).

*Note: Aha! If we transgress the Torah (instructions) of our Father in Heaven, then we sin, and what is the wages of sin?

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Elohim (God) is eternal life through YaHuW'shua Messiah our Master.

If the wages of sin is death, and sin is the transgression of the Torah (Law), that means that we are under a curse every time that we violate the Torah (Law) of YHWH! And so how are we going to learn to live righteous in Messiah? How are we going to learn to crucify the "old sinful man" daily? How are we going to "overcome" sin (Lawlessness)?

Well we can't do this with the "written" Letter of the Law alone! We need the help of the very same power that raised up our Messiah from the dead!

The Letter of the Law does not teach us how to die daily to the "old man." It only tells us how sinful we are, and we already know this!

It is like receiving a diagnosis from the doctor that you are dying of cancer and it is not treatable. You know that you are going to die, no matter what! There is no hope! The Doctor's diagnosis is like the "letter of the law." It is a piece of paper with the doctor's diagnosis on it and his handwriting is not going to miraculously change!

But....what if the Doctor himself (the person) sends you to another specialist? What if the doctor is just like that "schoolmaster" who merely shows you that you need to get to another doctor who can treat you? What if the doctor who gave you the diagnosis is only a "general practitioner" and all he can do is tell you what is wrong, but he does not know how to treat you? That is what the "letter of the Law" does! It shows us how sinful we are, but it does not help us die to the old selfish nature!

But who can help us die to the old sinful man? Who can teach us how to live "Holy"and set apart? It is the Set-Apart (Holy) Spirit of YHWH who teaches how to obey the Commandments of YHWH!

The teacher is the Holy Spirit once we come to faith by the "hearing of the law."Once we come to faith in Messiah, what does the Holy Spirit teach us to do? To obey the Commandments of YHWH!

In Romans 8:1-4, Paul uses this term "The Law of the Spirit of Life" and he says that this "Law" frees us from another Law called "the law of sin and death." Then he goes on to say that the written "Law"  can not make us righteous because of our weak sinful flesh. So what exactly is this THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE?

It is the very same spirit that gave Moses the Torah---THE SPIRIT OF YHWH!

The Spirit of YHWH Elohim is the Set-Apart (Holy) Spirit.

The Torah was written with the finger of Elohim (God)!

People in the Christian Church are treating the "Letter of the Law" (in it's corruptible form) as something different from the "Spirit of the Law" (in it's incorruptible form) and treating them as if they are completely different, but they are not. One is physical, the other is spiritual, but the Holy Spirit is not against the Law (Torah) of YHWH!

You see the Torah (Law) in the Letter form or in stone tablets was "broken" just as Moses broke the tablets when he found Israel whoring with the molten calf. In the same way, Messiah's body was "broken" for us on the cross (stauros). When his body was broken, the corruptible form of the Law (in stone or in the letter) was also broken (destroyed). But what happened to Messiah's body? He resurrected! And so what does this mean? It means that the same Law (Torah) has now become incorruptible! That means that we still have the same Torah (Law) in a more permanent form, called "The Law of the Spirit of Life" (Romans 8:2). It is also referred to as "the perfect Law of Liberty"  (James 1:25), because it does what? The Law in it's permanent resurrected form brings us LIBERTY! FREEDOM! NOT BONDAGE!

Romans 8

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Messiah YaHuW'shua, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah YaHuW'shua has made me free from the law of sin and death.

*Note: we are not under condemnation when we do what? Walk in the power of the Holy Spirit!  And what does the Holy Spirit do? He frees us from the law of sin and deathwith what? Another law called "the law of the Spirit of life."

Romans 8:3 For what the law (in stone or in the letter) could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim (God) sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

*Note: the Law in it's corruptible form in the letter or in stone, could not save us ----Why? Because the Law in the Letter form is WEAK BECAUSE OF OUR OWN SINFUL FLESH!

Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in uswho walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

*Note: Because Messiah condemned sin in his own flesh, we are now able to  FULFILL THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW WHEN WE WALK IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!

Romans 8:

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

*Note: the Torah (Law) of YHWH is "spiritual" (Romans 7:14), but we as humans are "carnal." And so to be carnal is death, but to be spiritual (subject to the Law) is life and peace!

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against Elohim (God)for it is not subject to the Torah (Law) of Elohim (God), neither indeed can be.

*Note: Aha! The carnal mind is NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OR TORAH! That is why we must be BORN AGAIN! When we "put off the old man" (Colossians 3:9), and we"put on the new man" (Colossians 3:10), we are actually putting on Messiah himself, the renewed image of Elohim!

Romans 8: 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please Elohim (God).

*Note: We are not able to please YHWH Elohim when we are walking in the flesh because the "old sinful" nature is not subject to the Law (Torah) of YHWH! Butwhen we are walking by the Resurrection power of Messiah, in the Set-Apart Spirit, we are now able to be subject to the (Law) Torah!

Okay, so with this understanding, Let's break down the letter that Paul wrote to the Galatians:

Galatians 3

1 O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes YaHuW'shua Messiah has been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

2 This only would I learn of you, Received you the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

*Note: Paul did not say "did you receive the Spirit by the hearing of the Law?"  He specifically said "Works of the Law" and this was the name of an Essene Cult in Paul's Day called "Works of the Law." This cult taught that one could be JUSTIFIED by doing "works" WITHOUT HAVING FAITH IN Elohim (God).

If Paul was discounting the Torah (instructions) of our Heavenly Father for bringing us to faith and receiving the Holy Spirit, he would be contradicting King David:

Psalm 19:7 The Torah (law) of  YHWH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YHWH is sure, making wise the simple.

The Torah (Law) is perfect and it CONVERTS THE SOUL---brings us to faith in Messiah!

Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh?

*Note: the Galatians started out with the Holy Spirit's power to obey the Commandments by the hearing of faith! But now they were going backwards and trying to obtain power in outward circumcision, when that was never the way of righteousness even under the First Covenant! Abraham received circumcision in his flesh AFTER HE HAD FAITH, as an outward sign of his faith in YHWH!

Galatians 3:

4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

5 He therefore that ministers to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

*Note: Notice that Paul makes as distinction between "hearing of faith" and"going through the motions of the law without faith."

This means that faith comes by hearing what? The word of Elohim (God)! Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by Hearing the word of Elohim (Torah)! Doing meaningless works without faith is useless! And which "word of Elohim" was in print when Paul wrote this letter? The Law & Prophets! There was no "New Testament" scriptures in print in those days. And so the only "hearing of faith" that they had was hearing the Law of Moses, and then obeying it by faith!

And so we see here that Paul is making a distinction between the "hearing of faith"in the Word of Elohim (God), which by the way includes the law & prophets, and this Essene Cult in his day who called themselves WORKS OF THE LAW. The existence of this cult was proven in 1947 when a document was discovered along with the Dead Sea Scrolls. In America, there have been law suits filed by various religious organizations over this document because the very existence of this document will shatter the lies that have been taught to us over the years about the Holy Torah (Law) of YHWH and it's role under the Renewed Covenant. Below there is a website that shows us the evidence for this phrase "works of the Law" having to do with man-made laws, and not the Torah of YHWH:

This cult wanted Gentiles to convert to their man made religion and to obey them without having faith in YHWH Elohim (God) first. Paul was rebuking them because they were "putting the cart before the horse"  by not allowing Gentiles to have fellowship with them until they first did the outward circumcision and went through an earthly man made conversion into their sect.

It would be the equivalent of what the Catholic Church does to this day, in teaching that "one must be baptized into the Catholic Church first, attend Catechism classes first and then the priest will pronounce you as 'saved.'"  And of course we know that this is completely false. YaHuW'shua (Jesus) told us in John 3 that we must be BORN AGAIN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT---NOT JOIN A MAN MADE RELIGION.

Galatians 3:

6 Even as Abraham believed Elohim, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

7 Know you therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that Elohim would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed.

9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

*Note: Paul is speaking of JUSTIFICATION here. He is NOT addressing being sanctified and set apart after we come into the faith. Why? Because he is shooting down the heresy of this cult known as "Works of the Law" because they were requiring Gentiles to become circumcised as a "pre-requisite" to salvation and to convert to their brand of religion "BEFORE" they could become saved!

But we are SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH,as it always was even under the First Covenant. No person was every Justified by keeping the Law (even under the First Covenant) And so then, after we are justified by grace through faith, the Holy Spirit brings us into SANCTIFICATION, by teaching us to obey the Torah (Law) of YHWH Elohim (God) ----not the laws of men!

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

*Note: What does Paul mean here? Is he telling us that we are under a curse for attempting to obey the Law? NO! He is telling us that if this is the way in which we seek to be justified, then we are under a curse! But if we are justified by grace through faith first, and then we obey the Torah (Law) as a RESULT OF OUR FAITH, then we are not under a curse! The Torah only brings us under a curse when we seek to be justified by it! But when it becomes the end result of our walking in the Holy Spirit's power, then it gives us liberty!

Galatians 3:11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of Elohim(God), it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

*Note: Aha! Paul reveals what he is talking about here. He says that NO MAN IS JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW. He never says that we are no longer required to obey the law AFTER WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH. And what does Paul mean when he says"as many as are of the Works of the Law are under the curse"? He is emphasizing that belonging to this cult and doing things in the reverse order ofputting the cart before the horse brings us under a curse. Why? Because no man is able to keep the law 100% of the time. But if we are JUSTIFIED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH FIRST, then we are FREE TO OBEY THE LAW WITHOUT FEAR OF CONDEMNATION SHOULD WE BREAK IT UNINTENTIONALLY.

Galatians 3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that does them shall live in them.

*Note: What does he mean here? Which laws does he mean? He is referring to certain man-made interpretations of the Law of YHWH. He is telling us that keeping the law does not produce faith, and it cannot justify us. If a man supposes that this is how he shall be justified, then he must be able to live by the law 100% of the time without fail.

Galatians 3: 13 Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

*Note: Messiah has redeemed us from the curse of not being able to obey the law! What is this curse? In Deuteronomy 28 there are 98 curses for not obeying the law. That is why during the week of The Feast of Tabernacles there were 14 lambs slaughtered for each of the 7 days of this feast, totaling 98 lambs for each curse that Israel broke when they failed to keep the law. Messiah fulfilled all of these in his once and for all blood sacrifice.

Galatians 3:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through YaHuW'shua Messiah; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man annuls, or adds to it.

*Note: What is Paul talking about here? He is giving an example of what happens in a man made contract or covenant. He says (if I may paraphrase), "once a contract is made, no person adds to or takes away from that contract....therefore, how much more with a Covenant that YHWH Elohim (God) made with Abraham, shall Elohim (God) not make good on his promises?"  Paul is explaining that entering into covenant with YHWH Elohim is exactly the way it was for Abraham--by faith. But once that Covenant is established, YHWH Elohim added the law because of Israel's sins. Therefore, the law cannot initially save any man, but once we are saved, we know that the Law/Torah reveals what YHWH Elohim requires of us to live Holy and set apart.

Galatians 3:

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not, 'And to seeds'as of many; but as of one, 'And to your seed', which is Messiah.

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Elohim in Messiah, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot dis-annul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but Elohim gave it to Abraham by promise.

19 Wherefore then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but Elohim (God) is one.

21 Is the law then against the promises of Elohim? Elohim forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

*Note: the Torah (Law) of YHWH Elohim is NOT AGAINST THE PROMISES OF ELOHIM (GOD)!

Galatians 3:

22 But the scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of YaHuW'shua Messiah might be given to them that believe.

23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Messiahthat we might be justified by faith.

25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

*Note: Once, again, as I stated at the beginning of this teaching, a schoolmaster is a term in Greek that means "a person assigned to make sure the student gets to class every day."  But once the student gets to class, the "Teacher" takes over from there. The "schoolmaster" is the law in it's corruptible form in stone or in scrolls or in the "letter" so that we realize we need to go to school and learn from the Holy Spirit. Now, the written Law (the schoolmaster) shows us that we need the Holy Spirit, so we are motivated to come to faith in Messiah by seeing our sinfulness and lawlessness. And who is the teacher?

YaHuW'shua tells us:

1st John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him.

Abide in who? The Holy Spirit!

It is the anointing of the Holy Spirit who teaches AFTER our heart is circumcised when we come to Messiah by faith in his finished work on the cross (stauros)!

And so what is the main problem in today's Christian Church? Many of them don't even have the REAL MESSIAH, OR THE REAL HOLY SPIRIT TO BEGIN WITH!

2nd Corinthians 11:4 For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, oranother gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.

Paul rebuked the Corinthian Church because they were ready to accept "Another Spirit" or "Another Jesus" and "Another Gospel" and why do you think this is?

Because the Corinthians were not schooled in the Torah to begin with, so they had all kinds of pagan ideas left over from their former lives. They had no "gauge" for how to identify the real Messiah from the pagan counterfeit ones. They had no gauge for how to identify the true Holy Spirit who always agrees with the scriptures versus the false spirit of Antichrist who teaches Lawlessness.

And so Paul had to bring them back to the basics again! They had to go back to the rudimentary principles of being taught the Torah (Law of Moses) which is the schoolmaster. And this schoolmaster brings us to the REAL MESSIAH, YaHuW'shua, and the real SET-APART SPIRIT and THE REAL BESORAH (GOSPEL)!

Now once the "schoolmaster" (the written law) gets us to the school, what will the Holy Spirit teach us?

The Holy Spirit will DEPOSIT THE SAME LAW IN SPIRITUAL FORM INTO US:

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says YaHuWaH; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them an Elohim (God), and they shall be to me a people:

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says YaHuWaH, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

In Conclusion, we have the "schoolmaster" which is the written Law in Stone or in scrolls which "kills our flesh" because "the letter kills" (2nd Corinthians 3:3-4). This is because our flesh must be crucified daily.

But once the written Law (the schoolmaster) gets us safely to school, we have the Holy Spirit who "teaches us" the same law only NOT UNDER AN EARTHLY RABBI(who has limited understanding), but now the Rabbi is YaHuW'shua Messiah himself:

Matthew 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Messiah; and all ye are brethren.

We have only ONE RABBI---YaHuW'shua Messiah!

The word "rabbi"  often times means: Master or Teacher, but more literally, it means "my great one." This is why YaHuW'shua does not want us to call any human being "rabbi"!

There is only one "Great One" and that is our Master YaHuWaH Elohim and Messiah!

And so ultimately the final teacher is YaHuW'shua Messiah himself as he has sent the Set-Apart (Holy) Spirit to teach us. There is nothing wrong with having earthly teachers, so long as we know who the final authority is, and we don't allow an earthly teacher to usurp the authority of the word of Elohim over us. Every person who teaches us must be under the authority of the Holy Spirit and the scriptures as their final authority.

The term "under the law" in those days when Paul wrote this letter to the Galatians, meant being "under rabbinic law" and so we are not "under" some earthly Rabbi if the Holy Spirit is our teacher. The earthly rabbi may be our schoolmaster who brings us to faith in Messiah, but once we obtain faith in Messiah and our heart is circumcised, then the Messiah is our Rabbi, who teaches us through the Holy Spirit!
