Okay, so I'm really leaning toward this machine. It is SO CUTE, and it has good reviews. I would love to get something more heavy-duty that will last a while, but I am also looking to get myself a newer, better machine in a couple of years, so at that time I can pass my current one down to her. So I'm thinking that maybe I will go with this one as her first machine. But I haven't decided for sure yet. Any thoughts?
It's super cute! And not so girly that she'll "grow out of" it in a few years. I think it's perfect for a little girl. Have you checked Craislist?
ReplyDeleteWhy not just get a good, basic regular machine? I have the Singer Simple (less than $80 WalMart) and am very pleased with it. That way she won't need a new machine as her skills increase or need to learn the features of a "real" machine. I was about her age when I first started using my mother's Singer.
