Jayla had her first dance camp ever this past week, and we were so impressed! I have been wanting to send her here for years, but for a couple of reasons it just didn't work out. This year it looks like it will!
Not only were we super-impressed with the spiritual aspect of it (it is the focus of the whole dance studio.....to dance for the Lord and do everything pleasing to HIM!), but I was also very impressed with how much she learned in such a short amount of time, and also how the teacher made the most use of a small space! Wow! We are really looking forward to this upcoming year!
After being exposed to other dances she was not very familiar with until this week, she now wants to try out Irish and Hip Hop, but I think she is going to stick with ballet for this year. Hopefully finances will allow for additional classes in the future!

very cute! looks so fun - but she looks so serious - lol! I'm hoping to be able to afford some stuff for my kids here soon! great job Jayla!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I think she was just really concentrating! They learned all that in 3 days, so it was more than she was used to! She had such a blast though! :)
